These products are processed with the aid of latest technology using quality tested chemical compounds at our vendors' end. The offered products are water based, environment friendly, anti fungal, vapor barrier coating, used to provide protection against moisture and vapor penetration from the atmosphere. Presented products are used for wrapping glass cloth on AC ducts with nitrile rubber or cross linked polyethylene foam and can be applied at room temperature by spreader or brush. We offer these Pidilite Products in various packaging options in order to meet the varied needs of our clients.

Areas of Application
AC Ducting / Air Ventilation System - Fabrication of AC ducts - provides additional protection from vapor penetration from the atmosphere.
To wrap Glass cloth Ducts fabricated with Nitrile Rubber or Cross Linked Polyethylene.
To wrap Glass cloth or Canvas/Fabric cloth on Ducts fabricated with EPS (Thermocol), Glasswool, Rockwool, Puff, etc.
Glass cloth covered with Flexible Aluminum Foil
Chilled Water piping
To wrap Glass cloth on Pipes insulated with Nitrile Rubber or Cross Linked Polyethylene.
To wrap Glass cloth or Canvas/Fabric cloth on Pipes insulated with EPS (Thermocol), Glass wool, Rock wool, Puff, etc.

Method of Application:

For Nitrile Rubber and Crossed Linked Polyethylene:

1. Clean the substrates to be bonded so that they free from Dust / Rust / oil etc.

2. Wrap the Glass Canvas cloth to Duct surface bonded with Nitrile rubber/ XPE Foam.

3. Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use.

4. Apply one coat with brush.

5. Allow to dry and apply additional coating in similar method if required.

6. Allow to cure for 24 hrs at ambient

For Glasswool/Rockwool/EPS/Puff:

1. Clean the substrates to be bonded so that they are free from Dust / Rust / oil etc.

2. Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use.

3. Apply the coating on aluminum or EPS (Thermocol) or Puff surface uniformly by brush or spreader.

4. Immediately wrap glass or canvas cloth tightly with over lapping so that no gaps are left.( Alternatively Glass Cloth/ Canvas Cloth can be dipped in the adhesive & wrapped also

5. Allow to dry and apply additional Finish coat in similar fashion if required.

6. Allow to cure for 24 hrs at ambient

Shelf Life & Storage

Shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacturing. when stored as per our recommendations in original sealed conditions.
